John Zaffis and The Paranormal Couple! Paranormal Journeys

Act I features Satori Hawes and Cody Ray DesBiens, otherwise known as The Paranormal Couple, as they share their passion for preserving paranormal artifacts and history, as well as the testing of new theories and equipment. They are thrilled to share the stage with mentor John Zaffis, who has taught them so much about the supernatural world. This "modern day" couple has a deep connection to the past and will share their exploration of Victorian ways of Spiritualism that they practice in today’s world.  Believing that mind & emotion are conductors of paranormal activity, they'll demonstrate their very unusual, modern-day techniques of communication.

Act II is a rare opportunity to share the afternoon with the "Godfather of the Paranormal," John Zaffis, who will share some of his most compelling cases, discuss his intense journey in the paranormal and demonstrate his strong belief in the power of prayer. Through the years, Zaffis has remained respectful and always mindful of his passion to help people and will share some "behinds-the scenes" twists and turns he has encountered. His television show, Haunted Collector, showed him to be one of the foremost authorities on the collection of paranormal artifacts and memorabilia in the world. Believe it or not, he still receives donated items at his home on a weekly basis!

The Paranormal Couple

Cody Ray DesBiens and Satori Hawes, the "modern-day Paranormal Couple" are paranormal investigators and researchers with The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), founded in 1990 by Satori’s father, Jason Hawes. After working together on a few TAPS cases, they found that they had a connection to each other that was like no other connection. In fact, it seems that when they are together, and only when they are TOGETHER, they can open doors to communicate intelligently with spirits on the other side. What makes their communication different from other psychics or mediums is that the intelligent communication can be heard by others, too. Founders of The Paranormal Couple’s Haunted Museum of Objects, Oddities, and Curiosities, they curate a large collection of paranormal objects from around the world. They and their mobile museum travel throughout the U.S. to educate and inform others about haunted objects, trigger objects, as well as the care and precautions that they require. They are presently in the planning phase of a brick & mortar museum, which will permanently house their museum objects. As TAPS team members, you will often see Cody and Satori as periodic ghost investigators on Travel Channel’s Ghost Hunters and Ghost Nation.

Considered a foremost authority in the field of paranormal activity, John Zaffis has more than 50 years of experience, study, and investigation. His research has covered thousands of cases and has taken him throughout the United States, Canada, England and Scotland. Through hands on exploration with other investigators and clergy, John has obtained a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the paranormal. John has been featured on multiple television shows, including Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Haunted Collector, A Haunting in Connecticut, Little Lost Souls, Unsolved Mysteries, and Piers Morgan. John's first book, Shadows of the Dark, co-written with Brian McIntyre, was released in September of 2004. He is presently working on multiple books and is lectures at colleges and universities throughout the U.S.
